What we do to maintain your health & safety
Transport is an essential requirement for most people. For those who are vulnerable and often living in a rural community, it becomes a major factor in their ability to live independently and access the services and leisure opportunities available to them. TAP perform an invaluable role, providing individuals, organisations and groups with an opportunity to find out what transport is available, identify the cost, book and coordinate the service.
This service is a safe form of transport which has been specialised to make sure that it is easier to get people to their appointments. We offer a friendly, door to door, cost effective alternative to public transport and taxis. Every volunteer driver is DBS checked and MiDAS trained in passenger awareness and safety issues, and they always carry appropriate PPE.
